Speaking Digitally About Exhibits

"Some institutions, like the Brooklyn Museum, considered a leader in innovative uses of digital media, have taken social media to the next level, inviting people to help decide how to set up the floor and what to put on the walls."

What do you guys think about this concept? It seems like many of the readings we've been doing recently have been focusing on how to engage and connect to what the museum audience wants to see. I'm thinking also about the democratization of the language in the MFA wing's interpretation. Do you see this move catching hold at all in the future? How much control should be given over to the public in determining the museum space?
